With half a dozen feature films to her credit in just under a decade, Mélanie Laurent will step up a gear with her next project.

Isabelle Adjani and Adèle Exarchopoulos will star in this action comedy inspired by the comic strip La Grande Odalisque (2012), imagined by Bastien Vivès, Jérôme Mulot and Florent Ruppert. This delirious story, a contemporary reinterpretation of the manga Cat’s Eyes, follows a trio of high-flying burglars. Filming will take place in September, revealed Isabelle Adjani in the columns of Nice Matin: “[It will be] a female choral film between Paris and Corsica, also with Mélanie facing the camera and Adèle Exarchopoulos. We are awaiting the response from the fourth actress”.

Part of the filming will also take place on the Le Mans circuit, in Sarthe. According to the Actu Le Mans site, the production is also looking for extras to play engineers and mechanics.
