Adèle Exarchopoulos joins the cast of ‘Un métier sérieux’

For his next comedy, Un métier sérieux, Thomas Lilti will bring together Vincent Lacoste (clumsy intern landed in the emergency room in Hippocrate), and François Cluzet (humanist doctor crisscrossing rural France in Médecin de campagne). As Le Film Français announces, the plot is still unknown – even if the title suggests a new sociological study of a professional environment which is likely to be that of medicine or hospital (Thomas Lilti is -even a former GP). On the other hand, we know that the shooting, which will start soon and will last until April, will take place in Caen, in Normandy, where the director has been looking for extras.

Alongside Vincent Lacoste and François Cluzet, we will find familiar faces from the cinema of Thomas Lilti: William Lebghil (Première année), Louise Bourgoin (impressive stoicism in the Hippocrate series), Bouli Lanners and Théo Navarro-Mussy. Adèle Exarchopoulos, Lucie Zhang (Les Olympiades) and Léo Chalie complete the cast. The film will be co-produced by 31 Juin Films, Les Films du Parc, and distributed by Le Pacte, for release in early 2023.
